April Fire Safe Council Meeting and Updates

Yolo County Fire Safe Council’s April Meeting happened on Wednesday, April 27th from 4:00 to 5:30 PM.

On the agenda, the Fire Safe Council heard from the Yolo County Coordinator about upcoming meeting dates, an update on the status of Yolo County’s Community Wildfire Protection Plan, potential funding opportunities for fire prevention projects, and YCFSC website development update. YCFSC also heard from the Yolo Office of Emergency Planning on the status of Early Action Funding projects like the Siren System Design, the Chipper Program, and other wildfire preparedness projects.

At the meeting, the Fire Safe Council heard a presentation on the Reflective Address Sign that Yolo County RCD will be rolling out. Be sure to tune into the April Meeting on Youtube to hear the status of that important project!

The next Yolo County Fire Safe Council meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 25th from 4 to 5:30 PM.
